Rome is full of amazing sights. The Colosseum. The Pantheon. The Trevi Fountain. But something you don’t see in Rome every day is life-size LEGO vehicles cruising the streets. Life-Size 1964 Ford Mustang Recreated In Lego
What you’re looking at here is 194,900 Lego bricks. The pieces were constructed to recreate this life-size 1964.5 Ford Mustang V8 coupe, making it the latest and possibly greatest attraction at LegoLand Florida Resort (so far). It was built as part of a partnership between Southern Ford Dealers and Lego, and will have a permanent home outside of the Ford Driving School attraction at the park from here on out. Innovative Braille LEGO-Style Bricks Help Blind Children Learn To Read While Playing
The Braille Bricks project, co-founded by the Dorina Nowill Foundation For The Blind, helps blind children learn to read through play. Each block can be used like a toy by blind and sighted children alike, although for the benefit of the blind children, each block features one Braille letter. When Lego Meets Star Wars
If there were two things I absolutely loved when I was a kid, it was Lego and Star Wars. So when I saw these incredible miniature photographs by Avanaut of the snow battle on the planet Hoth from Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back using only Lego men, memories of my childhood come rushing back in a storm of fanboy nostalgia.
The creator of these photographs is Finnish illustrator and designer Vesa Lehtimäki or “Avanaut”. He started making his first Lego pictures set on the snowy planet of Hoth back in 2009 and has slowly been adding more and more over the years.

Battle Of Helm’s Deep Made from Lego
Based on the layout of Helm’s Deep featured in Peter Jackson’s film adaptation, this 150,000 brick set piece is astounding. The artists, who go by the names Rich-K and Big J, apparently, nail the atmosphere and scale of the conflict of one Lord of the Rings most iconic scenes. At the time these photos were taken, the model was about 90% complete, with an estimated four months worth of work.
