Artist Beau Bernier Frank suffered from chronic pain for several years that was recently attributed to an autoimmune disease called Ankylosing Spondylitis. The disease caused such severe pain and inflammation within Frank’s joints that he had to quit his job. Stuck at home for five months, Frank found himself in a dark tunnel of purposeless pain. As a means of coping with the unfortunate realities of his situation, Frank turned to the things he loved most about life — art and world travel. Continue reading »

Lost City Shicheng Found Underwater in China

Qiandao Lake (Chinese: 千島湖, lit. Thousand Island Lake), a man-made lake located in Chun’an County, Zhejiang, China, formed after the completion of the Xin’an River hydroelectric station in 1959. 1,078 large islands dot the lake and a few thousand smaller ones are scattered across it. The lake covers an area of 573 km² and has a storage capacity of 17.8 km³. The islands in the lake cover about 86 km²

The first underwater exploration attempt of the drowned city was in 2001 when it was discovered there were 265 arches in the preserved ruins. Lion City is about the size of 62 football fields. Continue reading »

A giant eyeball from a mysterious sea creature washed ashore and was found by a man walking the beach in Pompano Beach. No one knows what species the huge blue eyeball came from. Hitler’s Hidden Paintings Found in Small Czech Town


A Czech writer and publisher made headlines after discovering seven paintings owned by one of the bloodiest tyrants in history. Jiri Kuchar, who wrote two books on the collection, said the paintings were discovered in Doksany, a small town about 30 miles north of Prague, in a convent. They were believed to be lost for decades and are priced at $2.7 million or 50 million koruna. The convent, however, does not plan to sell the paintings. Continue reading »

Real Pink Cat Found in China

A man discovered a pink-coloured stray cat roaming around the community where he lives. Yao Xianhai, from Lanzhou in western China’s Gansu Province, said he didn’t believe his eyes when he first spotted the pink kitten. “I thought I had a blurred vision, but I then realised it was truly pink.” No one has come forward as yet to claim the stray.
