Buddhist Monk Makes Footprints In Wooden Floorboards Through 20 Years Of Prayer
70 year-old Buddhist monk Hua Chi has been praying in the same spot at his temple in Tongren, China for over 20 years. His footprints, which are up to 1.2 inches deep in some areas, are the result of performing his prayers up to 3000 times a day. Meet The Father Who Makes Amazing Sculptures Out Of Toast For Daughter Who Has Severe Food Allergies
But a father-of-two is brightening the breakfasts of his youngest daughter, who suffers severe food allergies, by creating daily toast sculptures. Adam Perry said his nine-year-old daughter Scarlett could not eat dairy, eggs, nuts or shellfish, but that white bread was a safe option. His bread creations to date include the Statue of Liberty, a T-rex and – inspired by the Olympic Games – a silhouette of Mo Farah doing his trademark Mobot celebration. This New Zealand Street Is So Steep It Makes The Houses Look Like They’re Sinking
There are plenty of picture-perfect spots in New Zealand, but none quite as Instagram-worthy as Baldwin Street in Dunedin, also known as the steepest street in the world. The street is only 350 meters long, but for every 2.86 horizontal meters, there is a rise of one meter. In other words, though the street itself is less than a quarter mile long, for every ~9 horizontal feet you walk, you’re climbing about three feet.
