The mundanity of modern life is something we have all experienced. The commute to work. Roadworks. Traffic.

So when a man proved himself capable of transforming the mundane into a work of art, Red Stripe knew he was perfect for the ‘Make With A Red Stripe’ campaign. Enter Filthy Luker who, in collaboration with Red Stripe, transformed Manchester Town Hall into an interactive 80’s arcade game classic – surprising and engaging the public with its ingenuity.

Combo: Provocative French Street Art

On a recent trip to Chernobyl, French street artist Combo left behind something memorable: a mural of The Simpsons. Combo is known for using iconic characters to make a statement, and this image continues the trend. The nuclear power plant in the background looks a lot more menacing here, but I also think there’s something really interesting about such a happy, cheery image juxtaposed against the aftermath of a horrible tragedy. Lake Worth’s 18th Annual Street Painting Festival

For a weekend, the streets of downtown Lake Worth are a canvas being transformed into works of art. With hundreds of artists using only chalk creating more than 200 paintings, the festival claims to be the largest of its kind in the world.

Street performers and musical entertainment contribute to the festive atmosphere, and artists will continue working on their creations at 10 a.m. Sunday, February 26.

Google Street View Hits the Open Waters to Share Environment in the Amazon
