Artist Juliana LePine Creates Incredibly Highly-Detailed Miniature Sculptures

Juliana LePine is a Brazilian sculptor that lives in Canada. She started sculpting in 2010 after making her own wedding cake topper and getting lots the attention from her guests! In a short period of time the artist was known for creating different techniques that allowed for many realistic features that were never achieved before in cold porcelain before. In 2011, Juliana started teaching her innovations through Youtube, online classes, DVD’s, and had a large base of followers from all over Brazil.

This is another piece I made for my domestic violence project. That was the first doll I made for the series. Babita Sarjou was a victim of domestic violence. She was missing since November 2010, and only now her body was found buried in her husband's backyard, the murder. For all those years her son believed his mom abandoned him… Babita Sarjou is the first doll of the series. She is going to be the symbol of this new project, a partnership with Dianne Madray from the NGO http://www.cadva.org. to fight domestic violence. She will travel the world bringing Babita's message of awareness and hope. #julianalepinesculptures #miniatures #julianalepine #polymerclay #doll #pvclay #domesticviolence
