Ukrainian Artist Creates Mindblowing Papercut Masterpieces
According to Eugenia Zoloto, an artist based in Kyiv, Ukraine: “Many years ago, when I was a little girl, my parents took me to every possible hobby class. It was my victory and my misfortune.
Yes, I’ve learned a lot of things, but I really could not decide what I like and who I want to be. Every time when you create something new, develop a new skill, etc – you feel almighty, that’s what I liked. And for the past years, paper cut art is one of these beloved hobbies.
The main theme of my artworks is the inner world of people and nature, which influence much on our lives. Flowers, insects and delicate laces live in intricate paper cuts. They are all done by hands and inspired by nature, dreams, people, shapes, imaginations and all kinds of art. The paper can be plain and laced or sculptured – in 2d and 3d.”
