Kiersten is an illustrator and visual development artist with a passion for storytelling!
She is from the forests of Canada but is currently living in Oxford, England where she loves exploring alleyways and looking for secret passageways to Narnia and Wonderland.
Kiersten specializes in gouache, pencils and digital work but loves to experiment with materials and see what happens. She finds inspiration from nature, reading, magic, adventures, history, characters she meets, traveling and anywhere else there is a story to be found!
After graduating from the Academy of Art in San Francisco Kiersten started working in the world of animation where she has been for the last eight years. This has given Kiersten the opportunity to design for a variety of television and feature film projects such as My Little Pony, Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs and the Addams Family. Kiersten loves working in animation and illustration as it gives her the opportunity to explore a variety of ways to tell stories.
You are most likely to find Kiersten at her drawing table working on a new project, lost in a graphic novel or out exploring with her sketchbook in hand.
