Animal Shelter Launches “Poorly” Drawn Pets Fundraiser to Support Animals in Need
For thousands of years, animals have been devoted companions to humans, offering us love, comfort, and emotional support. We form close bonds with them, and each animal has its own unique personality and traits that endear them to us even more. Unfortunately, not all animals have a loving home, and many end up in shelters waiting for their forever families.

Thankfully, there are people who are devoted to keeping these animals safe and happy until they find their new homes. Some rescue centers even go above and beyond to provide all the necessities needed for these adorable creatures to thrive.
The Coulee Region Humane Society in Onalaska, Wisconsin is one such center. The shelter has recently announced its “(Poorly) Drawn Pets Fundraiser” in order to raise funds to support animals in need. For a donation of $20 or more, the shelter will draw a picture of the donor’s pet.
“We aren’t guaranteeing professional works of art here, but they sure will be priceless,” the shelter wrote on Facebook. This fundraiser not only raises money for the shelter but also offers a unique and personalized keepsake for pet owners.
The Coulee Region Humane Society’s fundraiser is a wonderful way to support animals in need while also celebrating the special bond we share with our furry friends. By donating to this fundraiser, animal lovers can help make a difference in the lives of animals and ensure that they receive the love, care, and attention they deserve.
