This Aston Martin Interior Design Is a Thing of Beauty
The Aston Martin Lagonda was a groundbreaking vehicle known for its futuristic styling and luxurious interior, produced between 1976 and 1989.
It was the first production car to feature computer management and a digital instrument panel, with the development costs for the electronics alone surpassing the car’s entire budget fourfold. Each Lagonda took around 2,200 man-hours to build, with only 645 examples produced, making it an exclusive model. The interior boasted high-end materials like leather, wood veneer, and deep-pile carpets, alongside a cockpit-style control panel with numerous buttons. This combination of advanced technology and bespoke luxury made the Lagonda an iconic vehicle in automotive history.
