Editor Pat Riddell praised the exceptional quality of submissions, emphasizing their global appeal and storytelling power. Among the 18 winning images were breathtaking landscapes, vibrant city scenes, and intimate moments, with the grand prize going to Justin Cliffe for his touching portrait of a woman and her great-granddaughter in Vietnam.
