J. Henry is a New York City–based fine artist and union scenic artist who creates ornate, highly detailed oil paintings that resurrect medieval–baroque aesthetics, fantasy narratives, and architectural ornament into contemporary, magic‑laden scenes.

A graduate of the School of Visual Arts (BFA Illustration, concept art/children’s books) and trained scenic painter for NYC theater, she shows work with galleries like Arch Enemy Arts, Haven Gallery, and Copro Gallery, and received a Boynes Emerging Artist Award in 2020.
