Incredible Digital Photography That Transforms Everyday Architecture Into Melancholic Scenes

Nini Kachakhidze is a Georgian conceptual photographer and digital artist based in Tbilisi. Nini’s work primarily focuses on atmospheric street photography, minimalist landscapes, and architecture.

She masterfully plays with lighting and digital editing to transform everyday views of Tbilisi into cinematic, almost fairytale-like scenes. The main themes of her art include sunsets, sky reflections in building windows, evening city walks, and a sense of cozy solitude. All aspects of her work, from shooting the photographs to complex post-production editing, are done entirely by herself.

Beyond her personal creative projects, Nini actively works in commercial interior and fashion photography. She collaborates with musicians to create album covers and shoot music videos, and has worked on visual campaigns for major brands, including the Bank of Georgia and various hotel chains. In 2022, she released her own photobook titled Observe (via Snap Collective Publishing), which serves as a beautifully curated retrospective of her best visual works.
