Caitlyn Grabenstein Blends Vintage Americana With UFOs And Ghosts To Create The Most Mesmerizing Nostalgic Dreamscapes

Caitlyn Grabenstein (previously featured) is an artist, author, and homesteader based in Connecticut who has been creating original surreal collage art since 2017.

Alongside her visual work, she is also a fiction writer known for her One Red Arrow book series, blending narrative world-building with striking visual storytelling. Her distinctive artistic voice centers on retro-futuristic, dreamlike, and uncanny collages that merge vintage mid-century photography with cosmic and paranormal motifs. Combining analog sensibilities with unexpected juxtapositions—such as sheet-draped ghosts standing beside classic vintage cars, flying saucers hovering silently over quiet suburban homes, and vast, starry horizons—her scenes feel like fragments of a mysterious, forgotten timeline.
