Artist Paints Elaborately Colorful Scenes Using Only Her Fingers
Brooklyn-based artist Iris Scott paints without a brush so she can creatively utilize her unique style of textural Impressionism. When discussing her playful finger paintings, Scott states, “There’s nothing between me and the paint—I feel all the tiny nuances. I can manipulate thick paint with my fingers in ways brushes never could.”
The artist specifically takes part in an art movement called Instinctualism, which displays vibrant colors, enjoyable topics, and textures that are sure to delight one’s eyes.
