A Shelter Has Been Trying To Find A Home For This Cat For Over A Year

Champas is a 5-year-old cat who can’t seem to find a home. He’s been living at the Animal Welfare League Australia shelter in Sydney for over 433 days now and all he wants is a little love.

“He’s not the kind of cat that any family could take, but we know for sure there is someone out there who he would make so happy – we just need to find them,” a shelter spokesperson told BuzzFeed News.

Now, after 436 days at the shelter in Kemps Creek, New South Wales, he has finally moved in with a “new dad” – Nathan – who found out about the cat via… a relative in Amsterdam.
