Creepy and Naughty: The Scary Hotties by The Tragic Girls

Tragic Girls is an art project by an US female artist, who draws great pictures in the spirit of mid-century pinup illustrations and covers of penny-ante horror comics. They’re funny, horribly creepy, and generally make you want to immediately revisit Kaleidoscope of Horrors and the best episodes of Tales from the Crypt.

According to an artist: “Hey I’m Katie and I’m the creator and artist behind Tragic Girls!

Started in Salt Lake City in 2017, Tragic Girls blends the nostalgia and style of retro comic book art with a bit of dark humor and a healthy dose of sarcasm, all while promoting women empowerment, social equality, mental health issues, and more.

With Tragic Girls, I wanted to create a community where people can relate to each other and realize that they are not alone in this crazy world! We all have a Tragic Girl inside of us and it’s okay to let that out!
