Close Encounters: This Artis Creates Whimsical Paintings Of Cats In Their Funniest Poses
Joy, a California-based artist, is known for her vibrant animal art.
A mother of two and former lawyer, she achieved her dream of becoming a professional artist in her early 40s, drawing inspiration from the chaotic charm of cats. Joy’s self-taught journey began with pet portraits, and her mission is to spark joy and happiness through her work, exemplified in her series ‘Close Encounters’ which features detailed paintings of cat faces.
