This Artist Re-Creates Mindblowing Realistic USS Bowfin Submarine Environment in 3D

Evgeny Romanov ia a freelance concept artist and former 3D hard‑surface artist who specializes in atmospheric environment and character design for games and entertainment, with experience at Terraform Studios, RESCALE Games, Lilith Games and others.

His portfolio on ArtStation shows a focus on moody, story‑driven worlds—foggy industrial sites, sci‑fi structures, ruined forests—and he also creates and sells hard‑surface kitbash packs and resources for other artists.

Here’s what he says about this project: “I think kitbashes is a good idea for filling empty space with details. I created kitbash based on submarine interior. All geo is subd.
I am really happy to announce my kitbash. All geometry is subd. I created kitbash based on submarine interior. I have created an environment, it’s kinda showcase how you can use this kitbash.”
