João Ruas is a visual artist from São Paulo. He has worked in studios between Brazil and the United Kingdom for several years before shifting focus to personal artwork and exhibitions. Some of the inspirations behind his work are the dawn of mankind, folklore, magical realism, the concept of wabi-sabi (侘寂) and human conflict.
