This Artist Creates Surreal Snail Creatures By Using Real Snail Shells And Polymer Clay

Trail Snailz is a sculptor from Ireland creating surreal snail creatures using real snail shells and polymer clay.

“The Trail Snailz are a very rare species of snail that burrow deep below ground. It is very unlikely that you will ever find the origin of their tunnels in which they call home.

Far below the surface of the earth, further than any human has ever ventured, they have formed great cities. Each of the snailz have their own purpose, each assigned to a certain role in the community, all of which are very important in keeping this dwindling species alive. Many of the species never see the light of day and only the most courageous dare to show their face above ground level,” he wrote on Facebook.
