Divine Ammunitions: Superb Sculptures by Al Farrow

Art Al Farrow 01

Al Farrow is an artist who transforms weapons and tools of destruction—such as guns, bullets, explosives, and bone—into intricate religious structures, from cathedrals, mosques, and synagogues to menorahs and reliquaries, provoking discussions about humanity’s complex relationship with war, faith, and politics.

By combining symbols of peace and violence, he elevates shell casings, deconstructed guns, and even cluster bombs into haunting yet devotional sculptures, raising questions about how war is often justified or intertwined with religious ideologies.
