This Artist Reimagines Classic Rock And Gaming Icons Through His Own Lens, Turning Them Into Fresh Key Art

Ian Permana is an Indonesian illustrator and designer who builds colourful, character‑driven digital art with a strong anime, gaming and streetwear influence, and collaborates frequently with brands and bands on merch, covers and promo art.

His feed mixes polished key illustrations, fan‑art tributes (for things like Rush’s “2112”) and commercial projects (for example, work with Algo Laser), alongside product shots for his own shop where he sells prints, deskmats and other items from his “Gemel Universe.” Across reels and posts, he presents himself as both artist and small brand, sharing WIPs, process clips and collection drops that position his art firmly inside contemporary pop‑culture and internet aesthetics.
