Antoine Dufilho Creates Incredible Automotive Masterpieces That Mix Architectural Precision With A Deep Love For Classic Racing Curves

Antoine Dufilho is a French sculptor based near Paris and Lille, known for his monumental kinetic and automotive sculptures.
A self‑taught metalworker with a background in medicine (biomechanics) and architecture, he builds dynamic skeletal models of legendary cars—such as the Bugatti Type 35, Ferrari F40, and Porsche 911—by assembling precisely cut layers of aluminum, stainless steel, and corten steel.

ufilho’s signature “streamline” style relies on alternating solid metal and empty space. By placing thin metal plates in successive layers, he creates a visual rhythm that gives a static object the illusion of speed, motion, and breathing.

While mostly focused on iconic sports cars and racing history (Ferrari 250 GTO, Aston Martin DB5, Mercedes 300SL), he also sculpts boats (Riva) and planes (Concorde, Dassault Rafale).
