Nightmarish Symmetrical Beasts From Terra Hypnagogica: The Surreal Gothic World Of Daniel Vega

Daniel Vega, known as THE CODEX NOIRMATIC, is a Chilean illustrator and worldbuilder specializing in surreal, gothic fantasy.

Vega creates the TERRA HYPNAGOGICA universe—a nightmarish, symmetrical realm of grotesque entities, many-eyed beasts, decaying landscapes, and otherworldly architecture. His bold-outlined, limited-palette illustrations evoke Lovecraftian horror with metallic silver, bone textures, and black voids.

Recent works include “Grand Beast Quar’voldok” and symmetrical horrors blending dream messages from the deep with scifi/fantasy elements. He shares 162+ designs for potential prints or NFTs.
