The Spectacular Winning Photos From Underwater Photographer Of The Year 2019

Underwater Photographer of the Year has just announced the winners of its 2019 photo contest. Photographer Richard Barnden of the UK won both Underwater Photographer of the Year 2019 and British Underwater Photographer of the Year 2019 for his photo titled “The Gauntlet”.

The Gauntlet by Richard Barnden (UK) in Fakarava South Pass, French Polynesia. “The estimated 700 sharks that patrol the mouth of the Fakarava South Pass begin to hunt at night … This unlucky parrotfish dodged in and out of the patch coral heads looking for somewhere to hide … In desperation it hurtled straight towards me as I snapped a few passing shots and curled up into a ball as the frenzy of sharks shot past, leaving only but a few falling parrotfish scales behind”. Buddhist Robot Is Now Delivering Religious Teachings At A 400-Year-Old Temple In Kioto

An ancient Japanese temple has hired the help of a $900,000 (Y100 million) robot to deliver the teachings of Buddhism. The android, dubbed Kannon, is based on the traditional Buddhist deity of mercy and is designed to attract young people. Official Final Fantasy 14-Themed Weddings Now Available In Japan

Couples who love playing Final Fantasy 14 Online together can now get married with an officially licensed wedding themed after the in-game Eternal Bonding Ceremony in Japan.

The ceremony is set up through a wedding planning company called Bridal Hearts, and cost about $31,500 for a standard plan with 70 guests. Final Fantasy 14 director and producer Naoki Yoshida confirmed that the reservations for the service should open in a few weeks. Hutt Lagoon is a pink lake on the west coast near the town of Gregory. This very small town is located on a narrow spit between the ocean and the pink lagoon.

Hutt Lagoon is considered to be a salt lake with a red or pink hue due to the presence of the carotenoid-producing algae Dunaliella salina, a source of ß-carotene, a food-coloring agent and source of vitamin A. Over the weekend, the Premier League match between Everton and Wolverhampton Wanderers had a short delay as a black cat had wandered onto the pitch – and refused to leave.
