Sotheby’s to Auction Working Version of First Apple Computer Model
The Apple l, the first Apple computer made by Steve Jobs and Steve Wozniak in 1976, is seen on display at Sotheby’s on June 8, 2012 in New York City. Sotheby’s called the computer “an exceptionally rare, working example with original Apple cassette interface, operation manuals and a rare BASIC Users’ Manual”.
The computer was an integral component to the the personal computing revolution; it is set to be auctioned on June 15, 2012 and is expected to earn between $120,000 and $180,000 (the computer first went on sale in July 1976 for $666.66). When originally sold, the monitor, keyboard and cassette interface were sold separately. Bond Girl Halle Berry Introduces Her First 5th Avenue Shoe Collection
American actress and Golden Globe winner Halle Berry has collaborated with director Michael Haussman to film a new commercial in order to promote her own shoe collection called “5th Avenue by Halle Berry”.
The Bond Girl has joined forces with German brand, Deichmann, and introduced a collection of 40 summery, elegant and feminine shoes. The collection mainly includes peep-toe wedges, high-heeled sandals with straps, and slingback sandals perfect for combination with three-quarter jeans and a casual T-shirt just as easily as with the maxi skirts and dresses. Dominos Pizza Plans to be First Fast Food Chain on Moon
Dominos Pizza is planning to expand its fast food chain in a huge way by building a pizza restaurant on the moon. Dominos the world leader in fastest pizza delivery announced that it has been planning a pizza moon base for a year.
The Japanese arm of Dominos estimates the entire project to open a lunar branch will cost around 1.67 trillion yen ($21 billion), a price which covers construction as well as transportation of materials to the moon’s surface. The company will also require 15 rockets to transport 70 tons of construction materials and pizza-making equipment to the moon, The Daily Telegraph reported. Continue reading »

President Obama Held His First Ever Twitter Town Hall
President Barack Obama sends a tweet as Twitter co-founder and Executive Chairman Jack Dorsey. In the Twitter town hall, the messages were displayed on a large television screen on the stage, and in the Facebook one, the questions were just read out loud. The Twitter town hall was held at the White House in the East Room and President Obama responded to 22 tweets and posted one himself.
