“Shinagawa Station”. I was up at an ungodly hour to make it to the Tsukiji Fish Market, in Tokyo. With so many amazing things to see in the city, I had hardly slept, and managed to get off at the wrong station. Wave after wave of people kept coming through the station passageway. I spied a coffee shop with a vantage point and managed to snap a free shots, camera resting on the ledge. “A node glows in the dark…” In the last 10 years, mobile data, smart phones and social networks have forever changed our existence. Although this woman stood at the center of a jam packed train, but the warm glow from her phone tells the strangers around her that she’s not really here. She manged to slip away from here, for a short moment, she’s a node flickering on the social web, roaming the earth, free as a butterfly. 2014 National Geographic Photo Contest, Week 1
“Dreamscape”. A stunning sunset painted the sky over the Jokulsarlon Glacer Lagoon in South Iceland. It was a typical cloudy day in the Icelandic summer. The day was not hoping for a nice sunset, but I still decided to go on the spot, hoping to finally see the sun once the same had left behind the clouds. When the sun went down, in fact the sky burned out in an incredible vanilla tone. The scene was so peaceful and placid, so I decided to capture it with a long exposure, to bring out the amazing sense of oniric peace that this amazing sunset created. Winners of the National Geographic Photo Contest 2014
First Place Winner: “The Independence day”. While on storm chasing expeditions in the Tornado Alley in USA I have encountered many photogenic supercell storms. This photograph was taken while we were approaching the storm near Julesburg, Colorado on My 28th, 2013. The storm was tornado warned for more than one hour, but stayed an LP storm through all its cycles and never produced a tornado, just occasional brief funnels, large hail and some rain. Pornhub Will Use One Of These Clever Ads In Its First National Ad Campaign
Those who have been waiting with bated breath for the results of Pornhub’s SFW advertising contest were assuaged today with the unveiling of 15 finalists. And there’s quite the smattering of innuendo and suggestion in this batch, featuring a few videos, some clever image and word plays, and some that almost literally spell it out.
To those just tuning in, the site challenged the world to make G-rated, family-friendly ads for the site in March. Check out the finalists below and vote on PornHub’s SFW tumblr.

National Geographic Concludes What Americans Will Look Like in 2050
It’s no secret that interracial relationships are trending upward, and in a matter of years we’ll have Tindered, OKCupid-ed and otherwise sexed ourselves into one giant amalgamated mega-race.

“Epiphany ”. One of my dreams was it to shoot the night sky when I went on holiday to New Zealand this February. Unfortunately the time was not perfect because of the moon, which was at the beginning nearly the whole night at the sky and also the weather made me change plans. At the end of my trip I had luck an get a clear sky after the sunset although the whole day was very cloudy. I decided to drive to the famous little church in Tekapo and took some shots of the night sky before the moon rose. “Morning Frolics!” This Fox family had their den just down the way a bit from my cabin. On this particular day, everyone was out enjoying an early morning romp. There is action everywhere here!! One kit leaps an another is busy sneaking up on him. There were so many things happening, it was hard to keep up with it all. And, two of the kits didn’t even get in this image!
