Artist Creates Illustrations That Turn Loneliness Into Magic

Jenny Yu is a Chinese-American artist and illustrator, based in Los Angeles, California. Currently, she is working as an environment concept artist at Mindshow, which allows people to create, share and experience shows in VR.

Yu takes inspiration from ordinary moments of her everyday life and creates romantic, magical but at the same time nostalgic worlds. She hopes that these worlds will help “soften the edges of living”.

“Life often becomes routine and tiring for us, so I want to remind myself and others that there is always magic even in the trivial drills of everyday life.” – says Jenny Yu.
