Twitter Thread Roasts Bathtub Tray Ads For Women

A bathroom tray advertisement prompted a slew of tweets from a woman who used dripping sarcasm set the record straight about what a woman’s bathtub time really looks like.

The advertisement that started it all seems to come from RoyalCraft Wood, a company that specializes in wood products. The ad depicts a woman gleefully sitting in a candlelit bathtub drinking both a latte and a glass of wine while a tiny flower pot rests on the tray.

“The people who manufacture bathtub trays seem to have no idea what women actually do in the bath and I find that strangely comforting,” Sharon Su wrote on Twitter, beginning a hilarious thread of all the bathtub tray ads that got it so very wrong.
