Baby Face in Famous Paintings
When her daughter was born, Lucas de Ouro, visual artist based in Brazil, didn’t want to make the traditional birth pictures. To innovate, the father recreated some scenes from famous paintings as “The Mona Lisa”, “Girl with a Pearl Earring” by Vermeer, and the painting “Self-portrait dedicated to Dr. Eloesser” by Frida Kahlo. Instead of the faces that we know well, we therefore find the tiny face of Letícia, who was only 18 months old at this moment.
