Before the Cybertruck: Amazing Photos of the 1988 Lamborghini LM002

Lamborghini’s first foray into high-performance SUVs was the LM002, which made its debut at the 1986 Brussels Motor Show.

Its original goal was to build a superior off-road military vehicle. With its powerful 5167 cc engine that produced 450 HP and its avant-garde design, it revolutionized the market and perfectly captured the spirit of Lamborghini’s sports car heritage. The world’s first Super SUV, the LM002 had a sturdy body composed of aluminum and fiberglass, all-wheel drive, and remarkable slope handling abilities. These features paved the way for the creation of the Lamborghini Urus. There were three hundred of the LM002 made between 1986 and 1992. Here are a few stunning images of the 1988 Lamborghini LM002.
