Joyce Lin is an artist and sculptural furniture designer whose work explores the connections between outer surfaces and interiors, as well as the blending of natural and artificial worlds.

Lin attended the Alabama School of Fine Arts, then studied Furniture Design at RISD and Geology-Biology at Brown University through the Brown/RISD Dual Degree Program, receiving honors such as the Samuel Gragg Award for Innovation. Now based in Houston, she teaches woodworking and design, has exhibited in prestigious venues, and is represented by R & Company in NYC.
