Only 517 Rolls-Royce Phantom Vs were manufactured. It was an ultra-exclusive car, weighing 2.5 tonnes with a 3.6-metre wheelbase and the same 6.2L V8 engine as the Rolls-Royce Silver Cloud II. Peter earned his BA degree as an economist and later graduated from the Photography MA programme of the Moholy-Nagy University Art and Design in Budapest, Hungary. Interested in collective memory, his photo story Victory is an exploration of Hungarian public and industrial buildings that have been either abandoned or modified. Owing to the various degrees of erosion and reconstruction they have experienced, these buildings have taken on an alternative, and at times, grotesque, identity. It all started with 36 cardboard boxes, a few rolls of packing tape and one big idea. For more than a year, systems administrator Mike Campadore had been stashing away iMac boxes whenever the university ordered new computers, noting that the slightly angled shape of the boxes could create a giant wheel if he collected enough of them. A Stunning Sculptural Outdoor Pavilion For A New Property Development In China
Marc Fornes & The Very Many designed a large-scale sculptural outdoor pavilion on the elevated plaza of the Suzhou Center in China, as part of the Jinji Lake Biennial. Named ‘Boolean Operator’, the installation has been crafted from white aluminum, with the design featuring a ‘porous shell’, that casts a delicate shadow.
