Aging Beauties Classic Cars that were Found in a Barn in Rural France
Talbot Lago T26 Grand sport SWB Saoutichik is displayed for auction during the Retromobile show in Paris, Tuesday, February 3, 2015. 60 rusting motors, which include a vintage Ferrari California Spider, a Bugatti and a very rare Maserati, were found gathering dust and hidden under piles of newspapers in garages and outbuildings at a property in France. The cars were collected from the 1950s to the 1970s by entrepreneur Roger Baillon, who dreamt of restoring them to their former glory and displaying them in a museum, but, his plans were dashed as his business struggled, forcing the sale of about 50 vehicles, to be auctioned off on Feb. 6. In this Thursday, January 29, 2015 photo, the backseat of a rented 1957 Buick is packed to the brim with flowers, to be transported to Havana from San Antonio de los Banos, Cuba. Every Monday and Thursday morning, self-employed flower vendor Yaima Gonzalez Matos leaves her home to visit a dozen farmers who sell her sunflowers, roses, lilies and other blooms. Scavengers of the Burning Wasteland
“In a 200-acre-plus dump 5 kilometers north of Haiti’s capital, Port-au-Prince, hundreds of men, women and children scavenge day and night through the burning wasteland. They earn $12 to $15 a day – on a good day – for recycling plastics as well as clothing, household items and aluminum (for smelting). Some 5,000 tons of waste is created each day in the Port-au-Prince area.

Loi Krathong Festival in Thailand
We are all drawn to fire, entranced by its beauty and ferociousness. Its brilliance draws us in like moths to a candle flame. Thus, many of the celebrations that humans have involve lighting fires. They can be big or small; there could be many little lights or one giant inferno; they may float on water, burn on land, or rise high into the skies. Loi Krathong is a festival that is held each year in Thailand and a number of other places. During this festival thousands of little fires are lighted, presenting a marvelous sight for all the onlookers. It is believed that this tradition is an adaptation of Brahmanical festival, which was adopted by Thai Buddhists to honor Buddha.

Mystery Abandoned Hospital in Perrysburg, New York
These chilling images prove there is no sign of life at this abandoned tuberculosis treatment hospital. Johnny Joo captured the eerie shots of the desolate TB ward, in Perrysburg, New York. Where equipment lies gathering rust and walls are left crumbling. The photojournalist, from Cleveland, Ohio, stumbled upon the facility, which shut its doors in 1995, before shooting what remains of the historic site. Johnny said the facility, named after Buffalo Mayor James Nobel Adam, remains something of an unknown quantity as it is surrounded by more than 500 acres of forest land. Continue reading »

These jaw-some images show what its like to look inside the mouth of a tiger shark. Captured in amazing detail, the unique pictures show the alien-like anatomy of the shark and reveal rows upon rows of razor sharp teeth and white coloured gills. The incredible photographs were taken when a curious shark began to inspect the camera of British born photographer, Adam Hanlon, 46. Pooches Ride on Owners Moped in Indonesia
Cool rider Ace on the back on the motorbike, on January 12, 2015, in Surabaya, Indonesia. A pair of dogs enjoy a bit of bark-and-ride – as they weave through Indonesiaís traffic on the back of a motorcycle. Wearing red-framed sunglasses and a helmet the two golden retrievers happily sandwich their owner on the fast bike. An animatronic polar bear visits the London Underground on January 23, 2015, to mark the launch of Fortitude, Sky AtlanticÕ’s new drama starring Stanley Tucci, Michael Gambon and Christopher Ecclestone, which premieres on Thursday 29th January at 9pm.
