1

Artist Zouan Kourtis emerges as a visionary filmmaker, weaving gothic fantasy and dreamlike storytelling into his cinematic creations. His work transports audiences into captivating realms where reality and illusion merge seamlessly, creating an immersive exploration of the surreal.

Inspired by the groundbreaking artistry of George Méliès, Kourtis crafted his first stop-motion short film, “Trip to the Moon,” as an homage to Méliès’ iconic 1902 masterpiece. This debut earned an award at the Video Athens Festival in 2006, marking the start of an extraordinary artistic journey. Now, he proudly unveils his latest creation, “Wonderland – A Surreal Tale,” an ethereal masterpiece that dissolves the boundaries of time and reality. Through hauntingly poetic visuals, Kourtis invites viewers on a mesmerizing voyage, offering a hypnotic glimpse into the unknown.
