Ross Muir Creates Reworked Art‑history Icons in Sportswear With a Sharp Street‑culture Twist

Ross Muir is a self‑taught Scottish painter from Alexandria in the Vale of Leven, now based in Glasgow, who reimagines famous artworks with a sharp, street‑culture twist. He started painting at 30 with no formal training, using art to turn his life around, and became widely known after his Van Gogh in an Adidas tracksuit, Square Gogh, went viral.
