Retro-Futuristic Vehicles And Brutalist Gadgets: The AI Visions Of An Improbable Future

An Improbable Future is the speculative design project of a New York-based industrial designer who uses text-to-image AI (primarily Midjourney) to envision retro-futuristic vehicles, gadgets, and architecture.

The work presents curated relics from an alternate timeline—80s-inspired consoles, brutalist cars, modular interfaces—blending nostalgic familiarity (Casio, Nokia) with alien futurism. Themes explore industrial design evolution, transportation archetypes, and AI’s role in visual language.
