Vibrant Handcrafted Jewelry Meets AI Surrealism In The Multifaceted Practice Of Sıla Şehrazat Yücel

Sıla Şehrazat Yücel is an Istanbul-based artist who blends her background in landscape architecture (Istanbul University, 2010) and master’s degree in design with experience as art director in cinema and theater. Her practice spans digital painting, AI-generated art, jewelry, and decorative objects.

Yücel’s signature aesthetic is surreal, evocative, and asymmetrical, featuring dreamlike figures in olive groves, mirrored distortions, and vibrant, uncanny compositions. She explores reality-bending, wonder-seeking themes through deep thinker narratives. Recent works include equine series (“eye-catching equines”) and surreal portraits sold via ArtStar.com.

Alongside painting, she handcrafts jewelry and objects as “design tools to explore new forms beyond the screen”. Exhibitions include Dart Haus (Buenos Aires).
