Shooting in the dark on busy nights, Wood evokes the noise and heat of the club through the bawdy, drunken and unselfconscious interactions of the customers. In 1980, American Express teamed up with DeLorean to produce a specialty car to promote their gold card. A 24K gold plated DeLorean DMC-12 was featured in the 1980 American Express Christmas catalog. Axl Rose was born William Bruce Rose Jr. on February 6, 1962, in Lafayette, Indiana. Back in 1980, California Custom Coachworks did a limited run of just five Chevrolet Corvette sedans for customers (a total of six were produced, one of them being a prototype). They took the stock body Corvettes, lengthened them by 30 inches, adding a significant 500-lb weight gain to the body.
